Authors whip up dishes inspired by their books and readers will get to sample their concoctions.

Wordier Than Thou is launching its new Writers on the Road program, a series of live reading events connecting writers and readers in different counties and cities throughout the greater Tampa Bay region. The program will also serve as a resource for touring authors seeking a reading or book signing when visiting the area. The Paperback Exchange Bookstore is partnering with Wordier Than Thou for its first event, June 9, 7 to 9 p.m., at Gill Dawg in Port Richey. A group of Pinellas County authors will travel to this Pasco County venue to share their work that evening.
Pinellas writers include Wayne Lemmons, Heather Jones, Desiree Matlock and Tiffany Razzano. More visiting authors TBA. Local Pasco County-based authors joining them include Olivia Norem and Bellora Quinn.
